About Eastside AFC

Eastside AFC youth football, which is based in Barnstaple, North Devon, was formed in 2007 by a local police officer as part of a community project. The aim was to provide affordable football to children under 9 years of age, due to the demand to play competitive football. Today we train at various venues around Barnstaple and our home games are played at Rock Park football pitches with 6 to 16 year old boys and girls.  

 

Eastside football club welcomes both boys and girls of all abilities. We want the children to enjoy everything about the game, from training right through to the matches. They will learn football skills in a safe and friendly environment, be developed and encouraged to become the best player they can be.

 

We actively encourage the involvement of parents in the running of the club and provide training courses for those interested in coaching, refereeing or first aid.

 

We are currently developing our teams and are inviting enthusiastic and committed children of all abilities to come along and just play.  Anyone wishing to join the Club can either contact our Chairman or appropriate Team Manager.

 

We provide Astro Turf Football Training at Park School Astro and Tarka Astro in Barnstaple in the winter months and also hold regular goalie training sessions.  

 

 

Our home ground is Rock Park Pitches, Barnstaple.
